disableing door locks...
With all these thefts occuringon a regular basis, it seems just having an alarm, lo jack or whatever aren't enough. To deter a theif from stealing another car insted of yours seems to need a combination on alarm, the club, nothing in sight, and all that good stuff, and maybe even some luck...but...
So how do you go about disableing power door locks? Does it make it that much harder to break into the car(excluding just smashing the windshield obviosuly) How do you go about doing this? I hear about it alot as a way to avoid an easy break-in... Also if my alarm automatically unlocks and locks my integra will that not happen anymore once I disable it? (not that i really care) I'd rather find out how to take extra precautions than post a thread about my car being stolen...

Re: disableing door locks... (sportyolds)
Lojack is probably the best bet.
Anyway.....you can simply unclip the door lock harness inside the door panel. But then your wireless lock/unlock won't work. Many people go with the RS door latches since it doesn't have the switch to lock/unlock it.
Just FYI, this isn't how people break into Hondas, so this measure of safety won't really do anything. It might stop some kid who wants to steal your radio or your CD's, but not someone who knows about Hondas.
