Re: DB2 attempt #2
ive ran these bolts before through auto-cross and a few track days at the road course.. never had an issue with them.. if they were unsafe i don't think they'd sell them
Lower Control Arm Dress-Up Washers substitute the factory lower control arm hardware with tapered, OEM-grade socket-head bolts flush-mounted inside of our unique aluminum washers.

But not stainless.
And yes...they would sell them if they were unsafe. A lot of aftermarket parts marginalize safety.
Not really trying to rain on your parade. Just surprised me with "stainless". Stainless bolts are weak AF....and they should'nt be used to join aluminum because of the damaging corrosion that would occur between the two.
Just helpful info for any future dress up bolting.

So....they're not stainless then. OEM class bolts are 10.9. Socket screws usually come in class 12.9...which is stronger.

Re: DB2 attempt #2
well since i over tightened the last oil pan gasket, decided to do it again lol
but i had an exhaust stud mess up while removing the lower portion.. so i went ahead and cut that off, and then removed the entire manifold and pulled it though the top.. since i already had all this out i decided to remove the battery and intake manifold so i can put on my skunk2 manifold and i guess ill go ahead and knock out my abs delete while i am in here.. also ripped off the front crossmember as well lol
soooo new parts ordered and on the way are
*tanabe medallion cat back and extension pipe
*skunk2 mega power header
*fastline performance road race shifter
*k tuned traction bar with front engine mount
also raised the car up a bit as the camber kit was hitting the shock towers. now she rides so much better!!

Brake lines.. Fun stuff... I used copper/nickel line on mine. Super easy to work with. Also digging that shifter although I'm going with the ktuned b series shifter.

Re: DB2 attempt #2
i prefer the look of the oem line.. and did not want to have to make all new lines when there are cars out there in the yards waiting to have them removed lol...

Looks good man! Word of advice if you are going to daily your car with a traction bar. Either save your stock subframe for future install or order up a couple extra sets of the heim joints that are used on the toe arms. They typically fail fairly quick. I was going through a set every 20k. I was rocking the innovative traction bar on my prelude and called innovative up. They told me they use cheap joints... then recommended me an upgraded set. Kind of ridiculous in my opinion. I don't know if K-tuned is any better but I found them more of a headache then the part was worth. Either way, keep up the good work!

Re: DB2 attempt #2
i ran the k-tuned bar on my last car that i daily drove, i also auto crossed it, and time attacked it. never had an issue with the heim joints they used..
this car won't see too many daily miles as i am retired and only have to drive like 1 mile a day to pick up kids from school lol..

Re: DB2 attempt #2
but today i did manage to get the car to fire up.. first few start ups the car revved to 8k and i just shut it down.. thought it was the IACV so replaced it and same **** was still happening.. so figured the intake manifold gasket wasn't sealing so went ahead removed it again and put honda bond on both sides of it.. but now the car is idling at 4k lol.. i am assuming it is the seats where the injectors sit into the manifold allowing air in. will test it tomorrow with some carb cleaner to confirm or deny. as for now i just have the iacv unplugged and let the idle bounce from 1200-1500 so i can move it lol
