Default da/db1 owners: power steering and a/c plumbing/hardlines delete question

old owner had did a swap and left the hard lines and plumbing for the power steering and a/c. im looking for a diy to remove all of this and what to do with the a/c wiring. thanks

The A/C wiring, [most of it] is part of the main harnesses, there is a small harness for the condenser fan and another one for the A/C thermostat, behind glove box.

All the A/C lines can be removed, a DIY should not be needed, just remove it.

If the evaporator is still in the car, you will need to remove the complete housing, [after disconnecting the A/C lines, but you will need the duct that sits in place of the A/C housing, check your local bone yards for the duct.

The same goes for the power steering all that need so be left is the "loop" on the rack. 94

thanks on the clear info for the a/c



how do i know if my power steering is looped already? there's no power steering unit in my car
and all thats left is the hard lines the empty bottle and the front cooler. the car car drives fine.

At the steering rack there is an input and a return, they should be looped, something like this...
