okay so the thing is it is PIC Apex vs D2 36 ways which are better bang for the buck (not pic selects)

Thats going to depend on what you intend to use them for. I have heard some issues with leaky shocks with the D2's, but they will offer more adjustability. The Apex won't let you adjust as much, but I've never heard anything negative about them.

So it comes down to how much adjustment you need.
