Creaking noise from clutch?? replaced master, still noise!!
I thought it was the master cylinder, cause i could feel it in the pedal. it makes a bad loud creaking sound when i push the pedal down. its not the master cylinder, it sounds like it is coming from the slave cylinder or the clutch housing. anybody have experience with this?

slave cylinder pivot ball thing. Take off boot cover, spray down with lithium/silicone grease.

yep
i had the same problem it sounded like somethings wrong inside the transmission housing...but its only your slave cylinder...as stated above remove that boot and grease it up nicely....took me a while to grease it up and it went away...have someone press the clutch in adn out while you grease it up
hope that helps

THANK YOU.
Can everyone please STOP assuming that when your clutch squeaks "it sounds like a TO bearing to me"?
Its most likely not. Integras all have this clutch squeak problem, its one of the nagging things Acura never took care of (Apipe rattle, sunroof shake, etc). You have to lube it, thats most likely it.

Well, when it sounds like it's coming from your slave cylinder and after you lube it and still squeaks, then it's most likely your TO bearing. He says that he can feel it so, that's why I suggest the TO bearing, but you can try to lube up the slave cylinder first. It's easier to do.

my old integra did the same thing but it would go away as soon as i would drive the clutch a little harder, i think its your slave cylinder. IF that isn't it, im close to 100& sure its your TO bearing

If not your slave cylinder, also try lubing up the pivot point behind the master cylinder on the underside of the dash.
TO bearings do go bad, sure, but every time this post comes up, 10 people say "its your throwout bearing" when in most cases, it definitely isnt.

Thanks guys, it was the ball pivot joint on the slave cylinder, i had to lube it up a few times, but its gone now. Hehe, now i think i need a new brake master cylinder, every now and then my pedal goes to the floor. it works fine about 90% of the time...
