Re: Crashed my integra.... (BolivianDc2)
Wow..
I'm sorry about your car... It looks like a very very clean OBD1 GS-R (i like the obd1 look better lol.)
I'm coming from the same route man.. well, it wasn't really my fault, but in CA they have to put the fault on someone in a multi-car wreck.. so they put it on me.
My tire blew out while i wuz merging on the freeway, and somehow my car spun to the left. It spun cuz the tire blew right b4 the part of the merging lane that had sand (kinda confusing.. but basically Tire blow out + sand = spin out)
When it spun, it was headed toward the center divider and BAM! i got hit by a semi on my driver side.
Umm.. well it hit part of my driver side door (just abit, i could feel it on my leg) and mostly the left front wheel/fender area.
The impact sent my car flying in the air. it flipped 2wice airborne, and then landed on it's roof and slid for 80-100FT.
After that, i wuz hanging upside down in the car, with gas/oil/something spilling on my leg, smoke coming from the AC, and it was about to blow..
heh.. even though i wuz upside down, i put the car in PARK and then ripped the keys out..
somebody ran out from their car and started to try to pry the door open (car upside down so it wouldnt work).. i juss took my seatbelt off and fell on my head and back..
kicked the window out, and crawled out..
I made it out with some scratches, a bumped head... but no damage (except for my back/neck.. which don't feel the same any more).. but alive.
It must have sucked man.. to be in shock on the freeway, lose alot of adrenaline, and have to drive home like that..
It's ok though.. you learn from these things and it makes you less sensitive later on. (Even though now you're gonna be careful as hell for at least a month when driving)
Sorry for the long story, but it wuz cool to find some1 else who's been thru a lot.
Take care and Good luck with the car.
(P.S. my dad's car was totaled that night)

Do you see where the bridge turns into highway again? You can see the change in color of the highway.. Anyway thats most likely where it happend judging by the skid marks. Most of the time around here a small bridge like that is a bit lower than the actual highway and it causes a huge dip especially at high speeds..</TD></TR></TABLE>
Exactamundo. 64 is even worse, I swear my old hatch was doin' bunny hops on the highway from those tiny overpass areas.

thats exactly where it was. On the left lane there the two surfaces are really uneven, on the right lane its not as bad. This trip for some reason I wasen't paying attention and was in the left lane when I hit the little bridge.
I've driven that road through pouring rain and even snowstorms, the day I crashed was 70 degrees with not a cloud in the sky!

If you really feel that the road caused that, and you weren't speeding, try to sue the town, I'm sure you could win a little $$ out of that. Anyway, I say you find an RS shell and put all your parts onto it.

Re: Crashed my integra.... (m R g S r)
just be glad the damage wasnt worse. the most costly to repair will be the two quarter panels. Alignment will be important to get right as it frames the rest of the parts around it.
Good Luck and I hope you get it repaired. I cant stand seeing another teg fallen

apexi 99spec n1 coilovers (8k/5k) ITR OE rear sway
bald kumho tires
the car handles pretty neutral, it was the tires and non-alignment that caused it

yea i drove it home, the trunk lid would keep popping up on the highway (tyte spoiler y0).
I'm not really down, i just want to find a shell to get rollin again!
depending on what shell I find I will part things out, but I can't say what will go or stay until I find a another body!

Sorry to hear about your accident..
I do not understand.. was there any frame damage? or was there just body damage? How is droping everything into a shell going to solve your problem?
I just don't get this whole "drop it into another shell" idea. If your 1/4 panel and bumper is messed up just simple replace it and get it painted. It does not look like you require a whole new chassis.

Re: (mrmonk)
well you cant really tell from the pics, but this is what the body used to look like
i dont want to buy 2 new rear 1/4 panels, trunk lid , bumper, 5mph bumper, push and weld everything back into place and paint.
**edit: the ragejed taillight gaskets are still holding their own tho
