Default the correct level to fill the clutch reservior to

i checked my clutch reservior level today and when i opened it up it was empty, the floating cap is just sitting there.. i was wondering when refilling.. what level should it be up to, because there is not min/max indication on the outside like the brake reservior... help would be appreciated!

Just fill it up to the top, as much as you can so it wont overflow when you close the top.

You might need to bleed your clutch again since the reservior went dry.

There should be a min and max line. Don't go past MAX.

****, you make it sound like the car will blow up if you fill it too much.

No the car will not blow up. I have filled mine all the way to the top and did not notice a difference, until I hit the switch and my clutch began slippin away. Now its at the proper level and has not slipped since. My theory is there is too much hydrolic fluid and when you release the clutch there is still a little pressure in the line, witch causes the clutch to not engage all the way.

You may want to bleed your clutch now. Chances are it sucked up some air when it got that low.

yeah this happened to me the other day, just have someone sit in the car and pump the clutch like 5 or 6 times then hold it down. while he holds the pedal down, u open the bleeder quickly and then close it.
the clutch pedal will stay on the floor, but all u need to do is bring it back up
