Not likely. Those codes are usually due to fuel delivery (unless you're knocking and the combustion chamber is compromised. If so you have bigger problems). I would start by checking for intake/vacuum leaks and possibly flow testing the injectors. I went through 4 sets of injectors before I found the correct ones for my GSR. Those codes are due to Long Term Fuel Trim being out of spec on the ECU. This means the ECU was trying to compensate for too much or too little fuel, and could not keep up.

Thank you for your input. My engine has been rebuilt so I got my injectors clean and checked and flow tested ill check for vacuum leaks as well hopefully once i start my car and drive it around the codes dont come back

Is this on a JDM car/motor? I had a similar code on my 99 JDM ITR that was fixed with a new O2 sensor and higher octane fuel (94 instead of 91).

Hi dc2iggy, yup JDM ITR motor just got rebuilt. I had to change the crank shaft because the journals were out of spec. Right now everything seems to look ok just need to purge the coolant a little more. The codes hasn't come up after the reset.
