Default Clutch Noise—Sounds like air

Hey guys tonight I noticed when I started my car in the garage and pushed in the clutch to put the car in reverse i had a bunch of what sounds like air coming out of the transmission or around the transmission. It was very odd and I’ve never heard it before. The sound went away when I released the clutch and didn’t happen anymore anytime I came to a stop or used the clutch. Any thoughts? It was odd! I’m thinking throw out bearing but who knows.

More than likely you have a dry, rusty, or failing clutch release bearing. It only spins when you push on the pedal, and noisy bearings can certainly sound like "air rushing".
