Default Re: clogged fuel somewhere?

If there's a restriction in the fuel system, letting the pump prime a few times before starting it often helps. Fuel pressure would also be higher than normal, assuming the rest of the fuel system is working correctly. A fuel pressure test kit can be borrowed from autozone if you put down a deposit. If you really believe there's a restriction somewhere, you could check the fuel pump strainer, the hard lines for dents and bends (there's usually a bend in the hard line just before it connects to the filter, this sometimes becomes bent too much after many filter changes) and the little screens at the fuel rail end of each injector. Quite a few people have replaced their injectors when all they really needed were new screens.
