Default Clean B20v FTW daily/race

So I wanted to share how my build for my da9 went and how it rewards me with reliability, power, and affordable.
I used a high compression b20b block (9:6:1) completely stock
Now allot of people use b16 heads on stock blocks but that didn't make sense for me, especially since their NA. Little do they know a gsR head will make more usable power and bump compression. Think about it, the block cannot rev that high like the b16, type R heads. Plus gsR only revs to 8k and the others have better flow up high.
So yes gsR head for NA it is.. Bumps compression now I'm at 10:3:1
I used ctr cams, nothing to crazy a stock gsR valve train can't handle.
Installed skunk2 intake manifold, and skunk2 alpha header (421)
Now the header is 421 because it makes power in the midrange. Their for my power band as NA is bad ***. I'm also using skunk2 66mm throttle body
Best for my NA set up. I'm also using hondata thermal gasket
For my transmission I used a hydro gsR tranny (best of both worlds with gearing)
Exhaust RSR cat back with skunk2 test pipe
All this made 215 hp / 170tq!. That's very good for the set up being a stock engine with bolt ons. Doing 9s at the 1/8 mile
People don't understand it,
Well think about how my set up works together, I didn't just put random things together, I had a goal which is to have a strong low end mid range power band.
B20=low end tq.
Header, head= midrange
Ctr cams=hi end.
The end.

Still waiting for that "bad *** dyno sheet" you said you'd post up till then.... it's just words.

also the skunk2 ITM has a 70mm plenum opening, why not make use of that and get a 70mm throttle body ?

Did you verify you compression ratio with those sweet online calculators?

Are you using the knock sensor?

its just real good numbers for a pretty much stock motor. almost TO good. put the dyno sheet up and youll receive less hate
what type of dyno was used? temperature? and altitude? fuel octane?

Sorry about that, next time I will post pics.
On the dyno sheet you can't really see the bottom numbers on green but if you see the delta on the side that's the gain or just look at the graph how high it goes lol

I tested the 70mm 68mm &66. I gained more on the 66mm. Worked best for my set up

215 on a dynopack? Never been turned on one but don't they usually read higher than a chassis dyno?

church's high reading dyno? that puts you around 180whp on a dynojet.

but who really cares about dyno numbers? see what it runs at the track.

Rod bolt are the weakest link revving high for non vtec engines ... Hope your redline is 7500-8000... Or rod bolt stretch and bye bye motor

I read a lot on that and it's been a dispute for a long time, till this day.
It really depends on how the tuner calibrates the dyno.
I seen some threads of dynapack vs dyno jet. And both tend to read higher or lower than another.

I do only go to 8k rpm! I stop making power around their.

I don't know where you got that from but you are way off
The dyno difference shouldn't be more than 15hp

And I do 8.9 constant 9.0 at the 1/8 mile

Online calculators aren't exactly 100% accurate. You have to do a lot of hands on math in order to determine your real compression ratio... I personally don't think you're at 10.3:1 simply by using a GSR head... I could and have been wrong before.

So you're a 14 second car. What car is this again?

92' integra complete interior no ac or power steering
And the online calculator would be right because its all math. compression should be higher if anything because I resurfaced it. It won't be a big difference but its no longer stock it shaved off .00009 off. Example and not accurate just trying to make my point

I confirm this as an accurate description of the difference of horsepower reading between Church's Dynapack and a roller Dynojet in the south LA area. That thing reads way high

But more or less, not that bad for the described setup.

So rad car bud, seems like you got everything..... perfect.

it's well known that church's dyno is one of if not the highest reading dyno in socal

I get your point. You're not getting mine.

That's cool though. As long you're happy with the car.

Does Shawn church know this?
Why is it that it reads high?

Now I'm beginning to worry. I think I'm going to test it on a dyno jet
