Default Cheap 5 lug converion ?

Could I just use a 5 lug hub/rotor lets say from part source instead of paying some kid 600+ for his "JDM 5 lug conversion". No cheap just did OEM Honda ball joints and wheel bearings on my knuckles...I'm aware I'd loose my new wheel bearings but part stores sell them for like 50$. there's some nice BBS rs for sale near me 5 lug doe

$600 is cheap for a JDM conversion. I doubt you can put one together for a lot less unless you get very lucky.

JDM ITR conversions require either JDM ITR axles or prelude axles.

You can source mostly the same wheel choice in 4x100 and put itr calipers and rotors on your car for a fraction of the price. Don't give in to the trend!

It depends...

If eg or dc, then yes.

If EF or DA, then there's a bit more involved.

This. Unless you need some 5 lug wheels that aren't available in 4 lug, save the money and go with a 4 lug big brake setup.

Or get Mini cooper rotors and not do that.

Also, OP wasn't trying to upgrade his brakes. He was looking to go 5-lug to PUR-chase some wheels. Ghetto *** advice.

OP also doesn't want to lose his freshly maintained knuckles if he doesn't have to. Since our advice looks ghetto and wrong to you, here's the OP's options:

Wheels in 5 lug +~$600 for a conversion (and any items that need to be replaced if it's needed)

Or maybe spend a little more on the same wheels in a 4x100 pattern and possibly upgrade the braking system as well.
