Default Changed 2 valve, and 16 valve seals, Now blue smoke when start engine?

1993 gsr b17a stock
I got 2 burned valve... so i had to change them, and changed all 16 valve seals, head and intake gasket

now, when i start my car in the morning, there is a big blue smoke coming out of exhaust and smell like burning. It is gone after few seconds.

since i changed that, it burned oil like crazy, i have to put 1 bottle every 200km(125miles)
Before that, my engine used to burn 1 bottle every 1000km(600miles)

So i'm wondering what is the problem, because the mechanic guy said he did the job correctly, and he said it might be your piston rings that aggravated. He have 25 years experience, and i know him very well, so i dont know who to blame.

is it possible that the burned valve cause more problem to the piston ring etc..??
btw, there was a little piece that was broken from the burned valve. So i'm wondering if that pieces went down there and cause the oil burning.

Did he put the correct valve seals on the correct side?

The intake valve seals are suppose to have a bigger diameter than the exhaust side. I can't remember how much bigger off hand.

If that's not the problem you may still have oil in your header and the rest of your exhaust that still has to be burnt out.

Also the orginal cause of a burnt valve is oil comsumption or too tight of a valve lash. Now if you rule out the valve lash being too tight. Then that leaves us with your valve seals, oil control rings and pvc valve. Since you've already replaced the valve seals and you trust him, then the only too things left is oil control rings or pcv valve. Since it's quite a lot you were burning, It would be safe to assume it's your oil control rings on your piston.

Try cleaning your pcv valve first, then get back to us.

yes, my car had oil consumption before that. The mechanic guy said it is very rare to see burnt valve. i was really unlucky.

if you say the oil control ring, is that part of the piston? because before having the burnt issue. My car did not consume that much oil. So you're saying that because of the burnt valve, it cause damage to my piston ring?

i changed the pcv valve 1 year ago. The pcv valve can make that much oil consumption? It is weird that a little piece like that could make the consumption go up like that. I will change it tomorrow, since it is only $5.

The oil control rings are the last bottom three rings on the piston. If your car didn't burn oil before the valve seal replacement, why did you get them changed? If it's burning more oil now, then it's either your mechanic installed them wrong. I can't see him doing this or your oil control rings are gone. The pvc valve not working will cause you to lose some oil, but not a lot.

So it's either valve seals or piston rings.

Wait, did you mechanic check for other bent valves? Mainly on the exhaust side? Did you get a valve job done after?

BTW what type of oil do you use?

The exhaust valve seals are smaller than the intake valve seals so your fine.

Now if you had all intake valve seals it would be a different story.

i'm a bit confuse, so you're saying there are 2 seals?
one for intake and one for exhaust?

before doing the job, i used to burn 1 liter every 1000km

i got 2 burnt valve, so i replaced them, and also replaced 16 valve seal.
so now, i'm burning 1liter every 200km. and there is a big blue smoke in the morning, which it didn't have before doing the job. I remember few days before the 2 valve got burn, i had some blue smoke in the morning. That was just 1 week before the valve got burnt.

my valve was not bend. it was burnt. He said he did a good job and checked everything to make sure it was installed properly.

I just changed the pcv valve yesterday, and today, there was still alot of blue smoke in the morning, so i'm assuming that it didnt help.

since i'm burning so much oil, i'm using the cheapest oil available at walmart

WELL IF YOUR TECH FOUND A PEACE OF YOUR VALVE IN THE CYLINDER OR THE VALVE WAS BROKEN AND HE COULDNT FIND THE PEACE THAN I WOULD SAY YOU GOT A BAD CYLINDER DO A COMPERSTION TEST ON IT AND LET US KNOW WHAT HAPPENS
