Side by side. Wasnt a good shot from outside the car, but looks way better. You can smooth the material all one way so it doesn't look as textured.
BFE lol! I really like my ps despite not running it for a few weeks here. I wanted to design a tensioner that works with PS and incorporates a stock tensioner because everyone has at least three of those laying around. If it were cheaper than a vibrant tensioner and still kept the ps, I could see that being a selling point.
I ran the gas out of and put the car up for the year as school is getting crazy, and I am finally ready to install the turbo. I never did figure out the speedometer issue because I had continuity between the vss and cluster, and vss and ecu, and also put in various vss and clusters which never resolved anything. This is ok because I want to run boost by gear and plan on running it off a hall effect sensor on my rear abs. The kit i'm looking at from Xenocron http://www.xenocron.com/diy-wheel-sp...kit-p-728.html

Really cool after-market VSS by the way. I like the rear wheel (actual speed) data point. I added them to my bookmark collection.
I love the no-contact hall effect stuff and have pondered T1's timing sensor use of it. http://www.t1racedevelopment.com/ind...take-gear.html Just not there yet.

That's a sweet cam trigger. I wonder if you could accomplish the same thing with a stock obd2 crank trigger which, again is one of those parts that tends to reproduce on your shelf lol.
I might check out that ps idea and run a vibrant tensioner which would be a baller setup but I'm leaning more towards budget driven ingenuity with this build. And being an engineering student trying to fill a research and development role with some of the ideas I have.

Mitoses haha. Well the car developed a misfire. Probably wouldn't even notice it with stock exhaust but I think it's a timing issue caused by the CL of the crank being moved up, the decking of the block, the head resurfacing and the belt stretching. Timing belt tensioner is at the top of the list

The shop destroyed one of my tires trying to install it so I'm waiting for a new one to arrive. 15x8 was a bad idea unless I was trying to make it flush but I'll be able to run them for autocross at least.

Re: Byron's Official DC2 Build Thread
I'd been searching for some DB rear door handles for awhile, and my friend's got totaled by a 17 year old texting and driving so he gave me them. Here's the tools I used to removed them. It took about 20 mins. The hard part was reaching the rear nut where the ratcheting 10mm really helped.
Here is a comparison of the two handles. They look identical besides the missing lock. Doesn't look like any modification will be necessary.
This was kind of funny I thought. Plasti-dip over vinyl over door handle.
I love this little hvlp for shooting door jams or small stuff like this.

Do you have to fab anything in the Da or just bolt in? I love it, it really cleaned up the car a lot.
In other news to hell with innovate wideband. That LM1 is a piece of crap. The electrical connections are so finnicky it barely ever works properly.
The misfire was a random computer malfunction, it appears that Hondata somehow forgot (?) the tune because I downloaded the tune on it, it was basically stock with disabled sensors and running lean as hell(?!). So I started with an ITR basemap and increased the fuel values across the table. Managed to get it running really strong if a little rich. Part throttle is a little jerky if you're trying to maintain consistent speed so anyone wanna chime in on that please do. I'm pretty confident it won't blow up, but it's probably not the most efficient tune ever. I have never felt it make this much midrange power though, even on the previous tune. Going to pick up AEM wideband in the morning.

Man, I am really impressed with your screen name. Where do people come up with this stuff? I gotta come up with something better eventually here
Also ditched that junk Innovate wideband today

The DA ones have to be modded a little since the sedan rear handles push up instead of down (maybe it was the other way around? I don't remember) but it's easy to do with a dremel and some determination.
