Default Brakes Squeaking

About a week ago, I had my friend resurface all 4 of my rotors, he told me they were pretty bad and so I ordered 4 new brembos. Before the new rotors came, the front drivers side brake was squeaking pretty badly, both when pushing the brake and just driving down the road. I assumed the pad was rubbing up again the uneven rotor because I got the tsh-tsh-tsh-tsh sound and it varied with how fast I was going.

The new rotors came in and I got all new pads as well, however that front drivers side brake is still making the same sound. It's alot quieter and doesnt squeek except when I push on the brake but its still annoying to have this happening when I just bought new brakes. We put anti-sqeal stuff on the pads before installing them, any ideas on why this might be happening and what to do to fix it??

Hmm, did you properly brake them in?

3 passes each. 20mph to 5mph, 40mph to 5mph, 60mph to 5mph... if you lock up the brakes you might as well do it again since you leave excess brake pad on the rotor itself. Sort of like a hotspot, just keep in mind there is NO SUCH THING AS WARPED ROTORS. Get that bullshit myth out of your head if you think it's true.

Double check that break in procedure. I have heades about doing 3-5 stops from 30-35mph-5, letting the breaks cool as much as you can before doiing another stop.

It sound as though the caliper might not be returning enought. Did you check to see if the slid pins are moving free and have grease on them?? If so did you bleed the brakes? You might want to try that. If you do that and still get the the rub then it sounds like the caliper might be siezed, so time for a trip to the scrp yard if you dare. or a re-build kit

my left rear doesn't release properly. it releases, but it takes second or two, so it'll squeak as i power onafter braking for just a sec. when i was reading the first post, though, i was wondering if the pads were installed right. that always makes for some squeaking.
