well since i bought the car i noticed my brakes were F&*&(ing up a lil. and now when i brake they suck and my foot is all the way to the floor..
should i bleed them? or wat should i do.?

Yes, your first option is to bleed the brakes. Back to front. Hopefully that fixes your problem. If not, you may have a bad master cylinder.

when i changed all my calibers, I had the same problem with the peddle. Bled my lines again, same thing... Turned out was the Master cylinder.

yeah well these brakes are scary now..
so im gonna bleed the brakes and see wat happens..
or is there any way to tell if it my master cylinder

when you bleed the brakes the pedal will never get firm. that's your first clue it's the MC. once you go try the bleed it should give you a pretty good idea. seriously sounds like a MC unless you ran out of fluid. even if you don't bleed new lines there is still SOME pedal and they eventually firm up to some degree.

well while bleeding the brakes the brake pedal never got hard while the bolt was loose.. after i tighten it the pedal gets a bit harder but can still be pushed to the ground with not much force..
im guessing its the master cyliner then?
any opinions?
my brakes dont work at all now the ebrake kinda works tahts it..
im not driving it till i get that fixxed

you just confirmed it. if it's still going to the floor your MC piston is pushing past the fluid. the rubber seals in those just go out and when they do. you get what's now going on

One of my bleeder screws was tightened well but barely loose enough to let pressure and fluid out. I doubt you have that and it's the master cylinder but it may be a good idea to check before you buy a new one. I had the same problem as you

It's your MC dude.. change it! Mine did the exact same thing and after I swapped in a new MC.. everything is gravy!

Don't forget to bench bleed the MC before installing..

could be the booster also, but no pressure with the bleeder open is pretty normal. and youre not going to want to keep bottoming the pedal out, cause if its not your master, it will be.

You put two tubes going from where the hardlines go on the master cylinder into the reservoir full of brake fluid and gently push fluid through the master cylinder until no air bubbles to the top. Then you can only take on tube out at a time when installing the hardlines

well maybe i bled them wrong..
can anybody tell me a quick diy..

95 integra gsr 4 door
first i removed most of the brake fluid in the reservior..and put in new fluid
i bled the rear passenger, rear driver,front passenger,driver passenger

i just let the brake fluid shoot out to a pan i had on the floor

i told my buddy to pump the brake till it gets hard*car turned off* then i would loosen the bolt and he would pump the pedal till the clear fluid would shot out then i would lock the bolt.. i did that to all the brakes..
and now i turn on my car and back it up and my brake pedal goes all the way down with no ease and the brakes dont work fer sh**

i did fill the reservior after i bled all of them

any help maybe im doing it wrong?? hahah

Before you replace the master make sure you dont have any leaks. Fill it up and punmp the **** outta your brakes see if the level drops or you see any obvious leaks.

well i bled them again and this time they got a it better but out off 100 like 15 percent it wont slow down if im going fast..
any opinions on wat to do?

1. Make sure the brake fluid level in the reservoir is at the MAX (upper) level line.
2. Have someone slowly pump the brake pedal several times, then apply steady pressure.
3. Loosen the brake bleed screw to allow air to escape from the system. Then tighten the bleed screw securely.
4. Repeat the procedure for each wheel in sequence until air bubbles no longer appear in the fluid.

1- R/R
2- F/L
3- R/L
4- F/R

If you bled them and they still hit the floor, its definately the Master Cylinder.
Same thing happened with my 94 DC2

i'm glad i read this, i just realized what wrong with my brakes, apparently my mc is bad too, works but just partially, brakes always feel mushy, and have bled them properly tons and tons of times now..
