Brake light acting weird.......
Hey all, well its been awhile since i posted on here,being that my last civic got stolen :'( but i jus got a 01 GS integra with a ls motor and i noticed on my way home from work(at night) my brake lights wont seem to work when i press the brake pedal with my headlights on but when the headlights are off, the come on, im a little baffled but anyone have a clue? I will try to post some pics of her after i detail her and get her all nice and puuurty ;-)

thanks fcm, ya wen press the brake pedal when the car is off, key out of ign. the beep sound that humms when u forget to leave the headlights on, comes on......strange huh, so tail light ground then......will do then

Yes, the warning chime is sounding because you are "back-feeding" power from the brake light circuit into the park light circuit.
The other possibility is that the filaments of a dual filament bulb are touching each other, not that uncommon on older bulbs. 94
