best catalytic converter replacement
sup guys, I'm looking to replace my catalytic converter and need help on deciding on which one to buy. i've got a 00 integra gsr and it has about 170k on it now and think its time for a new one. I don't have any codes or anything, but its been feeling sluggish lately and been getting poor gas mileage. I recently did some regular maintenance stuff like t-belt, plugs, valve lash, etc and that did not help. as for mods i have a greddy ss header, greddy sp2 cat back and a k&n drop in. i do have a cai i will be putting back in soon. i don't want a test pipe because i don't want it loud as ****. so looking for a oem like cat. or something mild like a high flow cat. i was looking a jackson racings piece but haven't heard too much on them. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Magnaflow. Run one on my GS-R and ran one on my turbo Nissan. Good quailty, good price. I ran a Catco and it desintigrated in less than a year.

Magnaflow/CarSound cat 49 state legal. Good enough to pass smog/DEQ in all but Calif, and they make a Ca/carb legal for that. Search for price, reasonable prices also.

If you replace a stock one, you can get direct fit, I thnk 2 inch. If you want larger, you probably will need weld. If yo are replacing stock, then you may be happy with 2" high flow. My old was significantly plugged to look at and I definitely ran better with the new.

I think 23939, you can check. Also look at ebay and other usual places.

$216.88 incl s&h ebay.

At least you can install and save labor with the direct fit.
