Default bangin gears

which holds up better to bangin gears at high rpm.... gsr tranni or type r tranni?

my guess would be an ITR tranny only because it has an LSD (limited slip differential) but both trannys are built the same with the same metal just with different gear ratios..and actually wat matters most is your clutch

wrong!!!

the ITR tranny is different, it's built heavier with dual-cone synchros and other good stuff like that......

all i kno b16 tranny seems to break alot easier the gsr and itr.. usually the differential.. friend broke 2 already..and hasnt broe the gsr since he switched to that

more parts = more chance of failure (ITR)

I'd still rather have a JDM ITR tranny for the final drive and lsd, along with short gearing.

maybe if you don't bang the gears, you'll be better off. in a honda, shifting with alot of force will slow you down because they are designed to be shifted very smoothly and with ease. ever drive an s2k or rsx/tsx? you'll learn that shifting too hard will slow you down. i learned to drive on a 1968 oldsmobile 442 with a big ole hurst shifter and you had to use force. thats why i learned the hard way about hondas.

slamin it into every gear as hard as you can, kinda like when i try to shift fast and clean....still cant do it
