It's little things like that that can really freshen up the look of the car. Looking good!

Looks great! I need to paint my side trim on my db8 as well! I wish my interior was that clean.

I appreciate it. To be honest I was a little hesitant to paint it, but I think it turned out good.

Gracias! I'm thankful that the previous owners took good care of the interior. I can't really say the same about the paint though. The clear coat is coming off on the roof and hood. My buddy and I spend a good chunk of the weekend washing, claying, polishing, and waxing it. It's not anywhere near where I would like it to be, but I was amazed at how much of a difference it made!

Cleaning up nice. What paint, specifically, did you use for the trim and wipers? My Teggy could use some of the same lovin.

I have a potentially stupid question. How did you avoid getting paint on the letters on the valve cover? Just a meticulous tape job? I only ask because what you show taped off didn't include the letters. I'm needing to paint the vc on my 95 gsr and want to duplicate your process since yours came out better than new.

You can either sand them after it dries or use a razor blade to carefully scrape them off when the paint isn't fully dry.

Nice work. I've had a DB7 since about 2003 and have basically done all these same things!

One trick for the valve cover painting, just cover all the holes with wide tape, and then use an exacto blade to trace around the hole. You end up with perfect circles of tape.

Thanks for the tip. I would have never thought about sanding the paint off. I'll probably do that just with a fairly high grit sand paper. Thanks again.
