Default B18C1 rebuilding

I got a stock B18C1. with 250k miles and my GF overheated the engine, is time for a rebuild.
My plan is to rehone the block, change the main bearing, resurface the head.
I wanted to put ITR piston in it,
-Can I used my gsr rod, or do I need ITR rod.
-Do I need to balanced my crankshaft
I wanted to put a skunk 2 pro 1 vtec cam,
-Do I need to change my oem valve spring and valve/retainer
where is a good place to get it hone properly???
how much different with 81mm or 81.25 mm ITR piston in term of power???

You can use your stock gsr rod. balancing crank is a good investment. yes change valvetrain for any aftermarket cams, good insurance. RS machine is where i get all my machine work

replace the guides in the head ! most of my exhaust guides were shot. prices at a good shop are around:

balance motor: $200 for plus minus half a gram
Bore and hone $100
resize rods and install new bolts $75 {bolts are $70 more}

a few notes. measure your head before you buy pistons ! my FGYFYGH'ing p72 head measured 44cc's by the time the seats were cut and valves were installed. the net will tell you that the p72 head is 41.5cc some might be. i would have bought taller domes had i known this. power differences should be 1-2hp by going .25mm over. skunk2 pro1 cams are aggressive ! you will need a chipped ecu to run these and at least 11:1 compression. 11:5-1 would be better. don't bother with ITR rods. if you want to reduce rotating weight buy lighter pistons. they make more of an impact than rods gram for gram. you also want to buy a single runner manifold if you do cam upgrades since the GSR manifold has a fairly small plenum volume, dual runner design aside.
