B18B1 Swap in shell diy or send it to a shop?
So i bought a 94' Integra Shell the other day and im debating on whether i should diy it or send it to a shop. My plan was to just buy a b18b1 complete from hmo and either ship it to my house or to the shop where it can get done. the only reason i am debating whether or not i should diy it is because the only things i have ever done to a car were painting a valve cover and cleaning the iacv... I have read many posts and most people "Say it is easy" but everyone says everything is easy on hondas so idk...
From my knowledge i know that i would have to:
put engine mounts in, axles, and the shift linkage and drop the engine in and connect the fuel lines and wire harness and badabingbadaboom...
If it's really that easy i'd def do it my self but the only thing that seems confusing is doing the wire harness and ecu.
Should i do it or send it to a shop?

send it to a shop if you have the money cause it sounds like your gonna have a hard time or go to barns and noble and theres a few books on how to do a B series swap. But iv done it myself all alone many times so its possible only if you have the experience and knowledge no engine swap is "EASY"

time consuming...look at my build threads I've done it alone many times. Tools you NEED good tools engine hoist at least 1 jack and 2 stands. I wouldn't say go from IACV cleaning to dropping engines in, ya its easy but frustrating on your own.

You'll need a can of silicone spray, a clean concrete floor, a floor jack that goes up 23" -24", a tire without its rim, a 1/2" breaker bar, a 3/8" socket set, and hand tools.
You can rent the socket to take the axle nuts off, from O'Reilys.
Here's a parts list link, for a JDM b18b, from HMO

It depends on if you plan to work on it yourself in the future or if you're always gonna send it to a shop. Some people are naturally more mechanically inclined than others, but anyone can do a swap if you just take your time and do your research. Everyone learns somewhere, just buy the right tools/equipment, do your research (research the HELL out of everything) and do it yourself. This will allow you to know exactly what you have, teach you part identification, and you'll be somewhat further educated feeling more confident to do your own repair work in the future, not to mention you'll already have all the right tools. If its just a one time deal and you have no interest in working on cars (or basically anything else) and you hate getting dirty, then just take it to a good shop. Again do research and read reviews.
