Is the B18B non-interference?
Is the B18B non-interference or not? Timing belt snapped today and just wondered if I was going to have to dig deeper into my pockets or not.

I don't know the answer to your question( I guess I could search).
But when the timing belt snapped on my LS, I was lucky enough nothing happened to my valves. I was at 6000 rpms in 4th gear too. While accelerating.
Good luck.

it is an interference motor. Having 1.4 point lower compression the room for miss is greater.
The answer to your question, yes. Did anything happen? every situation is different.

Yea you're definitely going to wanna check to make sure there was no damage to the head. 5 teeth ripped right off my timing belt one night when I was pulling out of my driveway, luckily no other damage.
