Default b18a vs b18b block differences

can you put an obd-o b18a motor in a 99 teg with the b18b motor? Does the block have extra sensors in it because its obd-2?

The OBD0 block doesn't have a spot for the knock sensor of csf sensor. you will have to use the intake manifold and distributor from the OBD2 motor for it to work also. the knock sensor issue will be very difficult to get around if you are planning on using the stock OBD2 ecu. you can do katmans csf bypass trick to fool the ecu into thinking there is csf sensor on the OBD0 motor.

you would be better off getting an OBD2 Jdm B20 motor and just swapping your intake manifold onto it and doing the csf bypass trick.
