air intake question

Default air intake question

i was wondering if anyone could tell me what to do in my situtaion. im building a ministock racecar out of a 96 gsr. the rules allow us to run any kind of air intake. i have a aem short ram and a full lenght air intake. which one is going to help me more? pro series vavletrain. 66mm throttlbody.

A real tossup, many say a short ram, others say CAI, [full lenght air intake], I have used both and get much better results with my AEM CAI over the short ram, [same K&N air filter], I run a 75 shot dry ZEX system, the CAI allows the "nozzel" to be a little farther away from TB, so I do not know if it is the distance of the nozzel or the colder air or a combination of both that is making the improvment.

You have both, start with the CAI and then switch to the short ram, see if there is an improvment or not. 94

3" pipe through one of the holes where a headlight goes with a velocity stack on the end of it.
