gsi/xsi is not related to the north American market, and yes it is doesn't make it a bad car tho, i'd rock one if it was clean.

Ohh gotcha and its my first car just turned 18 and wanted to learn how to drive stick and i got the car for 1100. Is that the reason this car doesnt have a vtec engine?

I recommend it IF it's done right, or else you have your self an oil staved ticking time bomb. LSV in a DA9 shell would be fun

Re: Acura integra DA what model?
RS = cheapest model (DA9x4)
LS = midrange model (DA9x5)
GS = high-end model (DA9x6)
GS with leather interior = top-line GS (DA9x7)
The "x" above denotes the transmission. 3 = manual, 4 = automatic. My car is a DA934.
If your car is a '92, the 10th character of the VIN should be an "N".
Please note that the use of the term "LS" to denote a non-VTEC engine is something made up by Internet users. Honda never used that terminology.

Re: Acura integra DA what model?
so my car is not the cheapest in north america right? Being the Gs is high end? is the gs with leather interior the one with VTEC? So my engine is not LS Thats something everyone just says.

No.
LS has nothing to do with the engine. It is only a sub-model code for the car. RS, LS, GS, all have the same engine (B18A), without vtec.

Re: Acura integra DA what model?
For '90-'93, the model range for North American DA9s went like this:
RS = cheapest model (DA9x4)
LS = midrange model (DA9x5)
GS = high-end model (DA9x6)
