you still never responded to my comments about how you were completely wrong with your acura and manufacturing standards bs.

as for the d16 integra, i think the reason they didn't sell it in the u.s. was cuz they didn't think it'd sell, not cuz it wasn't "luxury" enough. the integra rs and type r weren't exactly luxury cars either and acura still chose to sell them here.
the later years of the sir-g had the "jdm front" too, but with chrome headlights instead of black. the early years had the 94-97 style front, while the 98+ american front end never showed up in japan. the "jdm front" came on ALL trims of the integra, not just the type r. seems like you people obsessed with jdm this and jdm that would know this stuff.

Ok then...YOU tell me what differentiates the Integra in Japan to the Integra here...Im actually curious if you can find something. The car was made there, designs brought over here, manufactured under a different name and sold. It was a way for Honda to get into the foreign market, BY USING THE SAME PRODUCT, DIFFERENT NAME...

who cares what the difference is between the jdm and usdm integras? the usdm integra is an acura. putting emblems on the car that are incorrect is rice. you jdm people start foaming at the mouth when somebody puts type r stickers on a non-type r because it's labeling the car incorrectly, but you guys don't hesitate to put honda emblems on a car that isn't a honda, which is also labeling the car incorrectly. this has nothing to do with the history of acura or honda's manufacturing standards, both of which i still have no idea why you brought up in the first place.

jesus christ dude, are you ****en retarded? HONDA WAS ALREADY IN THE AMERICAN MARKET YEARS BEFORE THEY CREATED ACURA. they really were, i promise. the honda accord, civic, and some motorcycles were selling in the u.s. years before acura came about.

you want me to tell you what makes honda and acura different? simple; they're 2 different brands. if your car title says 'honda' on it, then it's a honda. if it says 'acura', then it's an acura. the car is called whatever the manufacturer wants to call it; in the case of the usdm integra, it's a 'acura' integra. putting honda badges on it is the same thing as putting bmw badges on it; it's NOT a honda. it doesn't matter that the honda integra and acura integra look similar, it doesn't matter that they have similar motors, etc, etc. if the car's title doesn't say honda, then it's not a honda. any more questions?

Cant figure out why this argument is still going on?? So what if i imported a integra from europe or japan, should i put acura emblems on it because now its in the U.S.? Same concept right? I imported a ITR front end from Japan so why not keep the stock H emblem on it i mean after all its a honda right? Can anyone come up with a good enough argument that a acura is not a honda? And to say the ones from here and japan look simliar is insane its the same car every nut and bolt and wire in the car the same with regards to not being LHD. Its not similar its the same damn car with a different badge on it. To make it worse all this coming from the same guy who tried to compare putting a caddy badge on a caviler LOL!! So to sum this up if you put a JDM ITR front end on your integra if you put any badge at all its your opinion that it should have a acura badge correct?? So you rock your "A" badge and ill rock my "H" badge and agree to disagree.

i dont want to get in the middle of this lol but i have to say its ok to put h on an integra honda made acura to show a luxury side of it so putting an h on it is showing who really built the car not who took credit theres an h on the motor for a reason
