98 Auto Integra misfires/sputtering/not picking up speed HELP PLZ
ok so last night it was time for an oil change on my wifes 98 Acura Integra, wife had been running part syn oil, and i decided **** it lets go full synthetic. also bought new valve cover gasket kit because it needed it as well. when i started it was all going well, drain oil, remove filter yada yada, when i got to removing the valve cover i pulled the spark plug wires from left to right, 1st was clean, 2nd 3rd and 4th were DRENCHED in oil, i was like WTF?!?! but i had already bought the gaskets so it was ok i went back to buy new spark plugs (NGK coppers) and went ahead and put it back together. Now the car had been running perfect CEL was on only for bad o2 sensor but..Heres what happened after....
-started it up and motor shakes like crazy, sputtering and sounding like it was gonna die when given gas.
-when gas is tapped it sounds like popping from the Throttle body and IM
-when i attempted to drive it it would not pick up speed, only very very very very slowly didnt even get it past 25mph :/
-exhaust shakes and sputters as well
i regapped the plugs .044
tried putting back the old plugs thinking the new ones were shot
and still nuffin
what could it be? i need to be in brownfield at 7pm tomorrow so any help is appreciated thanks guys.

sorry for not editing my previous post my phone is having seizures :/
also wanted to note that after removing new plugs they were black idk if that helps, sometimes it would idle normal then i would hit the gas, and then go back to low idle and shaking abnormally.

Ditto the above^^^, confirm spark plug leads are correct...
Also make sure the spark plug leads are clean inside, [spark plug end] and not covered in oil. 94

havent checked the new CEL codes since this, dont want something worse to happen to the car while driving it to autozone. :/
rearranging the leads just picked up some new wires since i messed one up yesterday. ill do that and let u know how it goes in a bit.

When you check for codes the check engine light will flash.
Fast flashes = 1
Slow flashes = 10
Each code will flash either fast or slow.
There is usually a little pause after each code is given.

Gotta make sure those plug wires are on right, man. Not good for your engine, especially trying to drive it like that.
