95 LS - brake line flange nuts - overtightened?
i just replaced my abs pump/accumulator, and now it appears that i'm leaking brake fluid. not sure if i'm leaking from the flange nuts, or if it's actually leaking from the motor/accumulator seals? i replaced both of those seals, and the accumulator seal went in ok, but the motor seal was a little tricky.
the abs works fine, but the regular brakes won't keep pressure. when i start the car, the abs take half a second to pressurize, and then i don't hear from it for the rest of the drive. there is fluid under my abs block. is it possible the block i bought is leaking from the regular braking side, but not from the abs side? please help! i want to know what i'm looking for before i spend all day pulling this damn thing apart again.
the flange nuts were WAAAY tight when i removed the original stuff, and so i re-tightened pretty tight, but i tried not to over tighten. i re-snugged them this morning when i bled my brakes again, but now it seems that i'm leaking more! i have to drive 250 miles to see my gf a week from now, and i really don't want to take the bike!! THANKS GUYS!!
edit - please no flaming. i more or less know what i'm doing. looking for help here.

well at the reccomendation of one of the techs, i pulled the leaking line and cleaned the flange area, re-installed. didn't seem to help, but it was a good idea. i re-bled all 4 wheels, and at first, the brakes felt incredible!!! i took it for a short drive, and i could tell i was gradually starting to lose pressure. any ideas on how to fix this without replacing the hard line? i'm really not up for that kind of project on this old car. thanks in advance!

would wrapping the line with teflon tape under the flange nut help? just to ensure a better seal? and maybe teflon tape around the nut itself? that seemed to work ok for bicycle hydraulic discs.
