Icon6 95 and 98-01 fuel level sending units different...

I have a problem. Im wondering if i am going to have to buy a sending unit from a newer integra.

Im replacing the fuel tank on my 95 Integra, i have in my possession a 99 Integra tank. At least 99 integra is written in grease pen on the tank.

Anyways, the tanks are not exactly the same. Heres two pictures i took of where the fuel level sending unit is. On my 95 tank theres a locking ring, on the 99 tank theres 3 screw holes.

95

99 (assuming this is for all 98-01 tanks)

Will i have to buy a sending unit from a newer integra? Will that work?

And my second question is what should i use to clean out the tank before it goes on my car?

All responses appreciated
