94 GSR Transmission shot?
Hey guys. I have a 94 GSR Transmission that has recently stopped going into gear. What happened was I was hearing the cricket sound the throwout bearing was making when its going bad. You know, step on the clutch it goes away kinda problem. Anyways the day before I was going to change it, it started getting REALY hard to get into gear, almost like the clutch needed to be bleed, then the day I was moving my car into my garage to change the throwout bearing it would not go into gear at all. So i took out the transmission and when you spin the shaft bearing it making, idk how to describer it well, but like a faint thumb sound. Heres a video of the sound.
Is my tranny gone or just need to replace the shaft? I drive it highway miles everyday, dont race it, and the clutch is good. No problems at all just everything started happening within a 3 day pierod, except for that criket sound. been happening for a month or so.
This is the video of the sound:

thanks for your help

Moving the tranny input shaft back and fourth will make a click sound your best bet would to be take off housing off and inspect the internals, From the video i cant really hear anything definitive.
If your throw out bearing is still in once piece and you are having issue shifting into gears i would deff pull it apart and take a look at the syncro rings.
Is it any gear in particular or just all gears?

Clutch Fluid was full? No leak on the inside of the firewall? Sounds like it might possibly be an input bearing or something, but that shouldnt prevent it from shifting into gear. Can you put the trans in/out of gear now with the tranny out of the car?

Ok well I bought a new transmission, new throw-out bearing, new fork. I have an ACT clutch, a buddy of mine works for them so he took a look at it, it isnt perfect but its good. But im still having the same exact problem. Will not go into gear... could the bearing need adjustment so bad? It was rubbing really bad before when I inspected the clutch.
