i picked up my integra about a month or so ago....

and i cant tell if its an ls/gs/gsr.

its a 92 acura integra and im not sure where to look.

is there a door jam sticker that would say?

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can find it on your vin number starting from the 10th digits in DA's.

Usually RS' don't have power windows or door locks or a moon/sun roof.

GSR's have a vtec emblem on the fender molding part where it usually says dohc
they also have same color moldings and come in a few rarer colors.

if its gsr it will say db1 in the vin# and all others are da9 and if its got all power options and 6 spoke wheels its a gs and a rs has no options no sunroof and ls just has power sunroof and a/c also your s/n says 18a1 so i know u dont have a gsr

You're most likely stuck with a LS/GS with a B20Z.

All you gotta do is carfax the vin and you'll know exactly what car you have.

yeah i got ya. you say stuck like its a bad thing. lol although it would be nice to have the gsr, but all the same im happy with the B20Z and the performance possible with it.

People hold 92-93 GSR's on some stupid pedestal. They are cool, but to try and knock down an LS/RS when comparing to a GSR is completely stupid. RS > GSR. Cheaper to buy, cheaper to insure lighter from the get go.

Only GS/GSR have ABS. If you have ABS but your VIN says JH4DA9...... Then its a GS. RS is the lowest trim level and has no sunroof on either 4 door (DB1) or hatch (DA9). The LS DA9 has a sunroof while the LS DB1 was available without a sunroof. Then to tell the difference between LS and GS, just look if you have ABS. ABS=GS

Its their rarity that makes people hold them on a pedestal. I would take an original GSR over a newer ITR. IMO.

That makes no sense. Because the GSR and the LS both had the same YS1 tranny, and the B17 is faster. You can say to put a short geared tranny on any motor and it will beat another but you can't compare that way... Both engines have to have the same tranny in order to compare how fast the car is based on the engine.

Actually hes right. It is widely known that putting a GSR/b16/ITR trans on a LS motor would result in much better acceleration, and yes it would keep up or even beat a GSR. It brings the LS motor to life, and is the best performance modification one can do besides FI.
