Question about new installed clutch master
i installed my new CMC today using this DIY as a guide
http://www.team-integra.net/se...=1162
at the end of his diy he says there should be about 1/2" of initial play before the clutch gives pressure. i adjusted my CMC till there was no play at all. is it okay for there to be no play? or does it need a little play in it?

Re: Question about new installed clutch master (b20acura)
It should be fine as long as the pedal isn't constantly putting pressure on the clutch master cylinder. If it is putting pressure on it, then you will wear out your clutch faster. Similar to the advice of not resting your foot on the clutch when it is not being used.

You will know if you are constantly putting pressure on it if you have to push the pushrod in to get it attached to the pedal.
