90 integra light dimming problem
i just got done putting the motor back in after a clutch swap all grounds are good alternator is charging ... but now the lights dim bad when i step on the breaks... heater dont work unless you rev it up some and smoke started coming out of the cluster area

Mine does the opposite...
when i press the gas it lights up..
when i use the window switch it dims..
still havent found the problem

Maybe the smoke was from the Combination Light Switch, it could be burning out, unplug the CLS and use a jumper lead to connect the white lead, [12V+ input lead from fuse 33-50A, engine bay fuse box] to the red/yellow, [low beam output], you can also try the white lead to the red/blue lead, [high beam output] and the white lead to the red/green lead, [park/dash light output], if that solves the problem, replace the CLS. 94

guess tear the dash apart dunno what could of happen been sitting in the garage not like anything got wet

soo i tore apart the whole dash didn't find a single burnt melted wire but when i step on the brakes i can hear realys click the clock dims and it starts to idle weird and cut out a little

o man the problems just keep coming ... soo i think i got the dimming issue solved but now the fun stuff push in the clutch and a relay over by the glove box clicks and it runs the fuel pump BUT THERES NO WIRES HOOKED UP !... and it will only start if you use a jumper wire off the starter
