Default 88 teg fuel pump wire. power

Im going to install a killswitch on my buddys 88 teg. Is the fuel pump power wire the same as the 90-93 tegg? Black/yellow. I know that the 88 civic is black/yellow too. Not sure about the tegg.

try using a voltmeter to see where your getting 12 volts. take out the back seat and ground your multimeter to the shell(preferably the seatbelt bolt) and stick your probe as far down the connector of each wire. when you turn the key to ACC, wherever you get about 12 volts on your meter is the wire you need for the kill switch. ONLY ONE WIRE SHOULD GIVE YOU ABOUT 12 VOLTS.

OR- just look in the owners mannual

You'll need a multimeter for other applications, but if you don't get a meter and no one knows and you really want a kill switch, take a chance. If you cut the wrong wire SOLDER it back together

If the kill switch was for me then i would, but it isn't. lol
I already know most of the wiring in my own car.
Its just an older car and its hard to get info on it so it wouldnt hurt asking.
