Hellloooo, so decided to kick out the old stock deck in the integra got everything apart with out a hitch! Ran into a problem when trying to mount the new stereo as the Dash Kit i purchased was far from fitting flush snug or even showing signs of working. I returned the dash kit and was hoping to find one online or if anyone else has encountered this problem.

So to sum it all up i'm looking for a dash kit for an acura integra LS 2000, if anyone has used a dash kit that works and sits flush the brand and pictures would be awesome!

Or better yet, no kit, with a few mods, [brackets] you can attatch the stock pocket to the aftermarket HU and make an "L" bracket for the back of the HU and install the two the same way the stock HU and pocket was installed.94

I'm going to give my local best buy a drop in see if they carry the kit i need or think is worth giving a shot. I've heard a lot of people think the metra is decent and would love to order one but also heard there are some clearance issues as well. Might have to go the duct tape route like the DIY using the old pocket.

Anyone else find a kit that works decent with little to no modification let me know!

For anyone trying to do this the metra 99-7898 worked like a charm for me i would expect the same 99-7892 as quoted above to work the same. Minimal grinding was done to the cut off tabs to make them flush and it was an 75% fit, 3/4 tabs clicked in one did not but the support from the ash tray and cig lighter did the trick.

METRA FTW, otherwise go custom.
