1) The button can be pulled out of the center console without removing the entire unit. If you look from underneath you can get a better look at it, i think it has a small groove what is kind of the fixed frame of the button wher you can wedge in a flat head screw driver and pull hte button out. The button is held in by a two metal clips (one on each side) only way to remove is to pull it straight out of the console towards the back of the car.

2) No idea.

becareful when trying to get thta defroster switch out. if it is colder than 45 degrees the plastic will break very quickly. this is one of the areas i wish honda/acura thought aobut a lil more before they designed it. my console shakes all over the place and cracked when i was trying to take out the defrost and hazard switch. so now i am in the market for a new control unit. anyone have one i'll pay ya 25 plus shipping for a 04+ ac/heater control unit with all the parts in working order. thanks

answers for 2)

the fan is under the compartment. it has three screw to hold that.....just take off those screw and unplug the wire, and take off the leaves. Put it back on...

the bulb is probably a subminiature wedge bulb, just take the old one out and go to autozone and match it up w/ one on the shelf.
