my car sometimes reaks of "miscellaneous" odors sometimes,so i keep that "febreeze to go" on deck!also, try vaccuuming your car, taking your seats out and all

well first of all you need to give us more explanation. you need to find were the smell is coming from, didyou go through all of your heater vents, did you check under the car to if you hit something?did something crawl up onto your engine or something and get fried? do some looking.

Mice and chipmunks love to build nests in the heater box and store food throughout the box and vents.
If the smell is from the heater box, [smells when blower motor is on] the best way is to pull the dash and heater box, disassemble box and wash everything, box, heater core, evaporator, [if you have A/C] all the duct work.
We do 3-5 of these every year and have found the only thing that works is to pull everything and wash with hot water and soap, we also spray a disinfectant on all surfaces inside the box. 94
BTW, if you store your car in the winter, or for any long period of time, peanut butter and a few mouse traps in your car will prevent it happening in the first place.
