I love Pick A Part (56k go camping and start a campfire and remember Only You Can Prevent Forest Fir
NEW GOODIES/PICS ON PAGE 4 and 5! FINALLY FINISHED THE RIKENS!
A couple of friends and I went to a local Pick-A-Parts about a week ago and I came up on some new wheels
Theyre made by Fittipaldi/O.Z., I was walking down one of the aisles and saw one laying there and though "Hmm, those looks KINDA like Spoons, too bad there's only 1..." So i walk to the back of the junk yard and find an old *** Chevy Nova that looks the size of those Chevettes, and it has the other 3 wheels! so i decided to buy them. Not much to look at before they are painted, but after, i think it turned out pretty nice.

After my friend and I stripped off the old paint and sanded them a little

My friend Ahmad spraying them

Not done yet, but a quick side by side comparison

Still not done yet, but just wanted to see what they look like with my Skunk Deuce lugs

Finished product...

Not too shabby for $87 wheels and tires, and about 20 bucks in paint and supplies (sand paper and the spray can paint handle thingy from home depot
). And the kool thing is, theyre 15x7 and weigh less than my old LS Meshies
Oh yea, here's a pic for ***** and giggles...Took this pic on the 210 freeway the other night. Gave the guy a thumbs up n pointed toward the back of his truck, and he laughed and gave a thumbs up back

Thanks man
The prep was a BITCH! There was grease and oil caked on on the inside of the rim, took steel wool, degreaser, aircraft stripper to get it all off, then the sanding was a bitch too. The prep was seriously the hardest part. Painting them took all together like 4 hours. 3 hours on one day, then we ran outta paint so i finished them up for another hour the next day. Prep took a long *** time, about 8 hours probably
