This guy that I work with is fed up with his hb and wants to get rid of it he wants $3,000 for it and its not running at this time but I dont think that it will require alot to get it up and running. well here are some pics

1992 CX 136,000 on chassis
JDM B18C engine
GSR Tranny
Full Sony Stereo
2.5 inch drop springs
Skunk 2 shift ****
B&M Short Shifter
17x7 Tenzo rims
Automatic GSR ECU

The only problem with the car is it isnt running right now. The guys swapped in the engine it started up but was idling high and low and stalling. And then as far as they troubleshot the fuel pump went bad it isnt working. Also the headlights arent working because as you may tell in the pics he swapped in some kinda crap in there and they arent wired up right or something that stuff is coming off the car along with those rims if I get it. So what do you guys think does $3,000 sound like a fair price for this car?

not really sure but Im not to worried about that either.

Other than it not running I think the oil pan was damaged on shipping because the car hasnt made it out of that garage in along time way before the engine swap. Anyways the oil pan leaks a little oil nothing serious though.

 

buy it as long as you can make sure you can get the motor running with minimal to no money at all.

 

Looks a little ricey, but if the car ran well I'd buy it for that much. Not if it needs engine work though.

 

Well here is the deal I cant get it as long as I sell my SE-R not long afterwards. I have a 1992 Sentra SE-R with an *** load of **** done to it including a DET swap. Anyways I can get alot more than $3,000 for my SE-R and Im sure that I can get this thing running fairly cheap or atleast I hope that I can. Also I do all my own work so that will cut out alot of the price to get it running I guess?

Well I like my car but Im somewhat tired of it and I have been wanting a hb for along time now and this one is in pretty good shape other than it not running

 

tell him to keep the wheels and get it to run, then give him 2500

 

id buy it.

as long as its just fuel management as to why the motor is not running the motor is worth about what you are buying the car for.

if its not stolen id ****** it up, then sell all that **** you dont want

2700 motor + 1500 chassis = pretty good deal

 

Nothing is stolen on it. The dude is a crew chief in the Air Force I work with him as Im also in the good ole USAF.

Like I said something isnt wired right or something is one problem then the fuel pump going out is another problem that it encountered.

Oh if I get it my 15x6.5 Kosei K1's are going on there quick along with some stock headlights.

I'd take it for sure. I stock hatch would run you that much still...atleast this one has a b- series in it. I would totally skoop it up. Well if the motor is legit..

 

Motor is legit from what I know ordered it from some importer I think cant remember who though.

 

come on some more people let me know what they would do. Im more than likely gonna try to get a loan for it tomorrow unless yall can talk me out of it!
