caus i finally sold her. Insurance and tickets where getting insane.

But i replaced her with a 2004 accord ex v6 6spd with navi black on black. i just got done doing my 5 stage polish and wax and have here looking better then the r ever did.

ill miss the R but i got a bunch of toys in the accord. navi xm radio and voice activation everything it seems. i can even tell it to find the nearest mexican and it will (restraunt that is) funny as hell how its responds.

only mods i might do to it are the comptech rear sway bar for sure and MAYBE the comptech springs. i already have the factory areo kit on her. and tinit comming monday.

SOrry you had to get rid of the R, but at least you got osmething fairly fun and plenty fancy to replace her.

awww..RrrrrRrrrRrrrrr..well u got V6 now..feel more power?

 

tons more power its sooooooooo smooth through the power band. and i have a bit more tq. the car is pretty quick from idel to 4-4.5 its still in break in.

the xm radio and being able to find anything anywhere and having a clander in the navi is very handy. it has more body rool then the r (what does not thats under 100k) but going around turns seem almost just a fun and confindent. im sure once i get the s-03 on the accord like i had on my R ill be happy. ooo and the comptech rear sway bar as well. that should tighten things up. The fron wheel gap you could drive a type r through probley lol. but i dont feal like messing with the suspension maybe the comptech springs but that would be it.

ooo and if anyone is wondering i use the following poorboys world products to shine here up

ssr2.5 with edge yellow pad using portor cable dule action polisher
ssr1 with edge blue
ex-p x3
and nattys wax x3

the car looks like water is sitting on it i **** you not. i could swim in the paint its so deep and wet looking. ill try to get pics as im getting a digi camera sometime this week or next.

and i though i would miss the lsd but actually i cant really tell a difference that much in turning. maybe the 6spd accord has a lsd like the TL does in there 6spd. ooooo the 6psd vs the auto accords has 17 and wider tires sporter suspension front tower bar perferated leather (oooo ahhhh) 180 watt stearo vs 120 and carbon fiber accents like the type r but there shiney CF. and my offical type R floor mats. i had to take something out of her as a momento :-P

ooo and another thing i took all the bolts ons off the car and to tell you the truth i dont think there was a that big a difference in power. i think i had a REALLY REALLY strong motor. but it was uber super quite with out the kakimoto r exhaust and spoon headers on her.

i still actually have a R in a way as i own a 2000.5 aprilia Rsv R and a 2002 aprilia falco slR lol

for you deciding on a car above me. drive the legacy 2.5 gt. its a blast to drive. but i got the accord caus it had more room and more toys. + i have a horrer story when i test drove a wrx with its shytey stock tyres

thats what i wanted people to think lol. im just glad thats not what happend to mine. or i would of not gotten the tax break on the new car

Thats definitely a nice replacement, 240hp with a 6speed not sure about the weight of them. Give it some time tuners will jump on them and start making parts for them soon. I love the 2 doors like you have and you got it in black I believe I read in some magazine that they were running high 14's with them.

 

yes a good replacement but the r is tighter.

im detailing my S4 errr my dads s4 well it use to be mine when i was in real estate. pics will come sometime eventually ill post em up in here.
