Default what manifold options are out there for the 18G Greddy turbo?

I'm looking for other options for a manifold for my 18g Greddy turbo. What is out there and have they been proven to show gains? This is for a GSR btw.

I was under the impression that it is a t25 flange

it has a t25 flange. u can go with some nice garrett ball bearing turbos such as the discopotatoe ,. gT25, gt30 etcc.

SFP makes a t25 manifold.

Actually, the turbo is not that small.. It is simply the flange that is utilized for that application. The flowof themanifold itself really is not that bad, considering the turbo is good to about 400hp. But you can fit a GT2540r, GT25R, GT28RS Disco potato, or other Garrett GT products

Can we get a confirmation that the td05h-18G turbo use a T25 flange?

yes the greddy 15g & 18G came with a t25 flange. BUT that does not mean that it has the same flange as a DSM t25

simply put there seems to be some confusion about a garrett t25 flange and a garrett DSM t25 flange.

I have an apexi turbo & for my gsr I choose to go with the HKS B series manifold. Basically it's like the greddy cast manifold with a slight different design.

I have heard the mitsu t25 flange is the same but just sits sideways compared to the flange on greddy, hks and nissan.

BTW i have a b-series HKS turbo mani for sale

The apexi turbo has a t25 inlet flange but uses an ihi 5 bolt outlet flange on the dp

Here's what a LOT of you don't know about the Greddy turbo/manifold setup.

A STOCK 90-96 300ZX turbo inlet bolts right up to the greddy 15G (and 18G) manifold. Here's a pic I took of a 300ZX turbo gasket on my 15G turbo/manifold:

Wait, that doesn't solve anything

This is true...the manifold isn't bad and you should be able to bolt those turbos on. Whether you'll ever be able to get the piping to line up or the turbo to clear the block, that's up in the air.

This is false...that turbo won't boost much past 18 psi

you sure your not thinking of the 15g? The 18g turbo is rated for about 400 crank hp.

If youre looking for a tubular mani or such, I know some companies make a adapter flange for T3->T25. Im not sure what companies but i know there are some. It would prob be pretty easy to make.

Unless there's something wrong with your current manifold, or you want to run an external wastegate, I see no reason to get rid of the Greddy. If either is the case, go to this link and under "flange options" you can see that "TD05" is an option:

I know nothing about the quality of this manifold though, so ask around first.

yes I'm sure that it won't support 400 crank horse.

I'm pretty sure it only flows 4-5 more CFM than the 15g.. Not sure on that one though

theres a guy that claims 346whp at 22psi. Thats about 407crank hp with a 15%loss.

The 18g is a great turbo. Just too many people on this board are bandwagoners and never give it a chance and say its a POS. Too many people are convinced they need 8 billion hp at 10psi so they strap a cruise ship size turbo to thier engine.

You are spreading misinformation!
A 15g can flow 420cfm
An 18g can flow 590cfm
The 18g properly supported can flow enough for 400 hp!

Psi isn't everything when it comes to power. flow is more important.

Please read: http://www.stealth316.com/2-3s-compflowmaps.htm

With regards to another option to increase the flow of the 18g and use a different manifold, I have a Hahn racecraft exhaust housing, that allows a td05h turbo to be mated to any t3 manifold.
This is an option you should consider if your 18g is still in good shape and the only thing you need to change is the manifold.
