Got a new short shifter ran into a problem putting it in. The 2 bolts that hold that plate that holds the shifter on. that have the flat heads on them well one of the nuts is stripped on the bolt all it does it twist dosn't move anywhere anyone have any suggestions on how to get it off???

try vise grips, and hammer a smaller socket on to it.!!!!
