This motor came running from a Lotus Elise prepared by Prototype Racing. If you were at the Eibach meet it found its home in the green Lotus that now has a K20 w/ a JRSC.
This is a real Spoon Crate motor special ordered from Japan.
This motor is basically a hand built motor with stricter tolerances than a motor from the factory.
Pistons, rods, and valvetrain are carefully selected by weight then matched to the motor.
Spoon crate motors only include the short block. (no distributor, IM, header, engine harness, or tranny). The 98 spec itr tranny was added separately, JDM ITR intake manifold, N1 crank pulley, JDM ITR 4-1 header (ceramic coated) w/ heatshield.
Dynoed at Church Automotive Testing at 192hp to the hubs. Motor comes with dyno sheet.

shipping can be done but id rather hold off to a local buyer. id rather have the buyer see this thing in person so we can do a leakdown and compression check in front of them so they know what they are buying.
if it comes to it we may have to ship it out.
bump for more local ppl
