its a race car. u gotta keep in mind we are from washington. we dont quite have the experience that the guys from back east and cali have. 11.31 and 11.62 are the fastest NA cars in the NW right now.
o yeah it is that copper hatch from last yr ron. minus the name of the shop that FUCKED him.

what was worse about the situation was he worked for them.

11.3 isnt slow for a K-series motor... for all we know it could be almost stock...
I ran my car last year with an almost stock EG shell and ran 12.43 But since I'm down 200lbs and up 30whp so times will be dropping..

Reids been one of my best friends since highschool.... think I've got some useful info...
Pics of both cars can be seen here: http://www.clubcivic.com/board...age=2

Copper Hatch(race car):
K20A
Crower rods
Ross custom pistons...about 14.5:1
Full Toda head package
Type 15 cams, VTC elimination, etc.
stock sleeves
stock crank
UR pulley
Toda flywheel
ACT clutch
SDS management
Stock tranny
112 octane
NHRA all-motor legal chassis
++need to make a point of saying how much faster the car could be, if he decided not to meet NHRA standards like the Skunk2 RSX (which weighs about 300lbs less)

White Hatch(street car):
t3/t4 57 trim .63 A/R
Custom turbo kit
netics gate
stock cams
fully port and polished head
CP 9.2:1 pistons
eagle rods
stock crank
Quaife close ratio gear set and LSD
ACT clutch
UR pulley
UR flywheel
AEM management

I also have video of his run last night... if someone has some ideas for how I can host them.

OH YEA!

NO MORE F2UNING!!!!! THEY SUCK!!!!!

Dustin, thanks for posting for me.

Georgelouis posted all the specs for me.

I know that 11.3 isnt really fast for a K-series drag car, but when I was driving for the previous company with "so-called" 15 years of racing and building experience the car only went 11.59. And that was after I PAID to drive the car all the way to Pomona last year with their name on it.

Now I am completely on my own and I have been to the track twice. First pass with my tune and I went 11.58, then 11.48, then snapped my butterfly shaft on the throttle body. This time, I ran 11.31 @ 120.
Again I know its not fast by some standards, but everytime I go I get a little faster.

Anyways, thanks again everyone for you support. Hopefully ill be able to post a 10 sec. slip someday.

Reid

P.S. I will get time slips posted ASAP.

How much does the hatch weigh???
What size slicks are you running??
and how much Hp is it pushing???

Me my hatch now weighs in at 1800lbs with me in it.
I run 24.5-9-13's
and had 210whp now pushing 240whp... Waiting for dyno tuning though
