better yet, just email 4bidden and ask him about putting the 4th gen shifter plate in the 5th gen. then you can use the 4bidden short shifter. better construction then that pos lean racing one.
all the lean racing one is, is a stock shifter assembly with a repositioned shift linkage connector.

I would also recommend replacing the 5th Gen shift assembly with the 4th Gen assembly, and then use the 4bidden Short Shifter. I love my 4bidden SS in my 4th Gen.
The Lean Racing SS is just a stock lever that has been cut shorter and had a new bracket welded on. The 4bidden unit is a completely new lever. Compare pics and the decision is a no-brainer.

you should theoritically (think a coulple people did this, PM 4bidden) be able to adapt a 4th gen shift assembly to the 5th gen. then use the 4bidden short shifter.

So I can use one from a 4th Gen. and put it into my 5th Gen.? If so, then I'll just get one of those

i believe he said the cables line up and all, just have to get the base plate then the 4bidden SS. but that base plate isnt cheap. in the end it ends up costing almost 300+ just to do it all.

no, you dont NEED it, you can use a prelude lever in a 5th gen accord assembly, trust me i have done it myself. the 4Bidden lever drops in, but might need like 2 or 3 washers or parts from the 4th gen lude, but my lude lever worked in my 5g accord assembly w/o that, so i wont know till i get one.

5th gen plate works with a 4th gen lude lever in a 5th gen accord. i dont know about anything else, except that a 4th gen lude plate didnt wanna work in my accord, somehting to do with the cables not reaching or somehting...
