Default JDM H22 4door Baseline Dyno VIDEO!!

Got bored today and decided i would take a trip down to trackmasters and get a few baseline dynos...Im a little dissapointed in the numbers i put down, but i also have a slight miss at idle, which is prolly hurting my numbers a little bit.
Mods:Carbon fiber short ram intake, 2.25 crush bent on a N1 axleback. Chipped p28.
Blue-JDMshit h22a program
Red- Custom Allmotor from ih8ricerz

JDMshit has a smooth powerband.

The others just have a sudden spike right when Vtec kicks. I wonder how a spoon program will do.

Upping the FP would help that out some.

Good post.

Use a FPR and bump the fuel pressure up a bit and you'll be fine. The program that we have is based off of the JDM Prelude Type S maps and have it slightly modified to run well on a H22A motor in the P28 ECU. The powerband is nice & smooth with our chip, as shown on your dyno. The "Mugen" program is most likely a B-series ECU program and when I've used them in the past, there's a lag in the midrange powerband until VTEC, and then it picks up again.... shows just that on the dyno chart. Obviously if you have the funds & resources, get a Hondata so you can tune it to your motor's fullest potential.

BTW, I've seen a Spoon P13 dyno chart and the gains are also pretty smooth. Not a sudden jump or surge on the chart with the Spoon program on the P13.

2.25" crush bend pipe isn't helping. Looks like the jdmsh!t chip has an earlier vtec switchover.

2-3 PSI on an FPR and I bet it's near perfect.

Every motor is different, as well as conditions and dynos.

The AF looks horrible if you ask me... too lean in between 5 and 7k RPM, nor is the AFR consistent throughout the RPM band.

I replaced the h22 jdm A/T cams for the M/T that were in my USDM h22. I got a little different power band, some more torque and about 177whp. It was a pretty inexpensive upgrade considering I had the cams already.
