I'm using tubes, but only because I got a hole in the sidewall

M&H do not use tubes, M/T says it's best to use them but it's not a must. Either way don't run if you had a hole in the sidewall

actually M&H does make tubes. when i last talked to them at vegas...he showed me the tubes. for damaged or old slicks with holes now u can reuse em and not let them go to waste

How would it be any different if you had tubes or not in regards to the ease of puncture??? Then in regards to slick shape/size....8psi in the tire alone or 8psi in a tube inside the tire is going to do the same thing.

cause i had my slicks mounted today and i put them on my car and lowered the psi to 6psi, and you now how when you move the car w/low psi the slicks kinda twist, i dont know how to explain it. bit i pushed it w/my finger where the slick meets the rim and you can here air seeping out. just wondering if it does the same when burning out

Hi guy's I am going to solve this problem for you. It's call a extra security blanket = ( SAFTY ). It don't take much to cut a slick down, because the sidewall is soooooo thin. M&H Slicks are a tube type slick, I did not have a tube that would fit the 13" wheel or a tube that was good enough before and NOW I do. So now I am pushing the subject. The tubes are around 2 1/2 pounds each and that is not going to hurt or change the way the slick bites. You racers are running the slicks so low now, that the slicks could come off the beed. Now let's say you are running tubes and you still cut a slicks down well somebody @ the track is not doing there job on clean up. Well let's put it this way, $ 100.00 worth of tubes worth $ 3000.00 or more damage to your car.

Thank You for listen and this is your saaaaaafty tip of the month.

Weight is a semi-issue though. Before, I used to be able to pick up my Lenso's and MH 22x8x13 w/ two fingers. When I put tubes in, I had to use three fingers to pick it up.
