Default Problems after OBD-0 to OBD-1 conversion

The car hesitates and jerks at light throttle in the middle rpm's (3-5000)
Things I have checked already.

O2 sensor (changed with OEM)
fuel filter (replaced with new)
Dizzy (ohms checked good)
spark plugs (looked good)
spark plug wires (replaced with new)

I have also ran two bottles of fuel injector cleaner, checked the TPS and the MAP sensor. The MAP sensor is gettting a low reference voltage from the ECU (3.6V) it should be 5V but I don't think this is the problem and I don't want to spend the money to find out it is not the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas I am ready to drop it off at a shop and shell out mad cash for them to fix it.

than you have problems elsewhere , you did a conversion in hopes to fix something ??

too many variables , could be anything...

whats reference voltage on the TPS ? and I bet the MAP sensor at 3.6V is certainly not helping the problem.... does it run ok at WOT ? or poorly all the time ?

Sup, gear heads. I'm new to all this, however i did a swap on my hatch and I'm having trouble, any help will be apreciated. I have a 91 STD EF, I swapped a 95 d16z6 out of my 95 ex, i kept everything obd 1, injectors, dizzy and even the p28 ecu. everytime i drive past 75 mph i get the check engine light, when i flip my home made switch, it gives me code 43 which is the o2 sensor, since i installed the 95 o2 sensor the light had turned off but now it only turns on after i pass 75 mph but if i turn the car off and start it again, it turns off. i dont think my vtec is kicking in at its fullest, what can it be?

are you speaking of the physical act of the solenoid engaging the big lobes ? or you just dont think your engine is running to its fullest potential ?

it could be so many things , need more info.

well written , collected thoughts would be nice , not a big fan of run-on sentences...

I heard obd0 doesnt run as strong as obd1, thats why i converted to obd1. You guys think it might be a bad sensor?

Yes computer issues. The computer was a remapped Integra LS.
VTEC and the secondaries were run off of a MSD rpm switch, it ran like crap the shop who did the conversion was full of idiots. So I did an OBD-1 conversion to let the GSR computer control the VTEC and secondaries not to mention the GSR computer has two maps on it.

Nice low hit. I just dont think the whole engine is as good as it was in my eg.

It ran quicker in the EG shell

If you had any idea what you are talking about you would know code 43 is fuel supply code 41 is O2 sensor

this needs to be edited and some posts deleted for garbage.

Are you throwing any codes? (sorry if it was answered)

change your spark plugs, i know they look good. But maybe one could be defective. sometimes its the simple things.

Believe it or not nobody has even asked.

No codes at this time, but I have had two codes since the OBD-1 conversion.

One was a code 41 repaired by replacing the Bosch 4 wire O2 sensor with a OEM.

The other was a code 43, I only got this code once I repaced the fuel filter and it has not returned.

are your injectors all good?

Did you run obd1 injectors and elimate the box, or are you still using your obd0 injectors w/resistorbox?

The 2 codes you got, fuel and 02 sound like they would cause your problem, but since they havent returned..

Do you have a fuel pressure guage and adj regualtor?

I am not sure I ran 2 bottles of fuel injector cleaner through them

Resistor box removed and running OBD-1 injectors

No, but I have thought about getting a AEM FPR

You might have not had the time to read the original post. I checked the MAP sensor and the only thing wrong was the refrence signal from the ECU was 3.6V and it is supposed to be 5V.

fuel injector cleaner is garbage. It does nothing. While scientifically theres enough of a certain chemical to do a wee bit, but in reality.. nothing.

Monitoring fuel pressure would be a good idea, especially knowing how much psi you running at.
