Default FINALLY! I GOT ALL THE PARTS!!

After almost a year of ups and down, a year of money gained and money earned, i have finally aquired just about every part i need for my bottom end and turbo project. Ive worked my *** off, ebayed my whole life away, and spent countless hours on this message board trying to figure out what to do. In the beginning I was going to boost my SOHC civic, but i ended up with this bad *** GSR, and this pimp *** list of parts...

2001 GSR

Bottom End Rebuild:
CP 81mm 9.0:1 Compression Pistons w/ Rings
Eagle H Beam Connecting Rods
ARP Rod Bolts
ARP Main Studs
ARP Head Studs
ACL Bearing Kit
Cometic .030mm Headgasket

Turbo Project:
Garrett t3/t04e 57 trim .63ar Turbo
Lovefab SST Manifold*
Lovefab 3 inch Downpipe*
TiAL 38/40mm External Wastegate
RC 550cc Injectors with Clips
Walboro 255 intank
Steelbraided Oil Lines and Brass Fittings
Custom 2.5 inch Charge and Intercooler Piping
TurboXS Type RFL Blow off
TurboXS Single Stage MBC
Thermal R&D 3 inch exhaust
Hondata s200b
Hondata socketed p72
Hondata 3 bar Map Sensor Kit
OBD2>1 Conversion Harness
GReddy 31v Front Mount Intercooler
Autometer Gauges
HKS Type One Turbo Timer

i think thats about it, im sure im forgetting something, but thats the vast amount of parts...some things are still pending like the Lovefab parts, im still in the process of that sale and other things are ordered but not have arrived yet...the car will be tuned by Willis(Darrin) at titan motorsports here in florida hopefully by the end of september or sooner, maybe later depending on how long it takes to break in the bottom end...i plan on shooting for 350-400whp on the intial tuning session, and then soon after i want to get the block sleeved, upgrade the valve and drivetrains as well...its been a long time in the making but i will keep everyone updated with pics as the beast is put together...the bottom end is getting built in the next week or two if i can get in contact with this guy who is doing it...turbo is coming after everything is broken in...so stay tuned!

looks like you've pretty much done your homework man. simple question, any reason why you decided to go with the stock sleeves and not something like benson or rs?? was it simply for money purposes?

Damn, nice setup. Looks like you made some smart choices. Let us know what your numbers look like after you tune and dyno it.

What part of Florida are you in?

yea you guessed it, my decision to not sleeve yet was based on the fact that im low on sources, im used to working full time but now that im back in school i can only work part time, so the funds are low, i was lucky enough to come up on some cash to finish the project for now...also after long hours of researching and talking to my friends who have experience with hondas and boost, they told me with a really good tuner you can avoid detonation and do fine with stock sleeves in the 3-400hp range, but dont worry...benson darton or AEBS are in the near future...

its going to be my semi daily driver...i only drive to work with it, i have the luxury of being able to watch my car all day while im at work and a nice alarm...

as far as labor my friend has a shop that he works in that he is allowed to use on weekends as he wishes...hes offered to do it for cheap but im not sure yet...the turbo install will be done by me and a few friends...

ok the bottom end was about 1300 give or take..i couldnt remember exact numbers...

the turbo setup was around 5000 dollars give or take as well...

this doesnt include small stuff here and there we might need to buy...and of course tuning is going to cost another 500 or so dollars..

in the end this is about a 7000 dollar project...i wanted to do it right the first time...
